I think that many people that see this portrait assume that it's a pure demonisation of Blair. I wanted to take it that far but I hope that it can be read in many different ways.

It was quite odd doing a topless (skinless) prime minister, it's not often I think about Tony Blair's nipples. I really enjoyed his green lips and Johnny Rotten teeth and sometimes wonder if a close up of the face wouldn't be the best way for this illustration to be best displayed.
